Oh, Cormac… Your writing style is not something I like as it just goes against everything I’ve learned. But somehow, the style aids into the atmosphere of the apocalyptic and desperate setting. A book that I really liked even with its annoying flaws of unlabeled dialogue and grammatical inconsistencies.

The first thing I did after I finished reading it was to go outside, take a very deep breath and watch the vibrant green grass swoosh slowly by the warmly-gentle wind… Then a warm shower followed by with a tasty meal, and it all ended under the fresh blankets and melting mattress.
Appreciate everything you have because you don’t know when all of it may be stripped off and destroyed. Savor it every single day and moment because there’s always something worse, always something brewing in secret.
